Lafayette Town Center Phase III Lafayette Town Center Phase III – In September 2009, KB Home (contact Jed Bennett, Forward Planner for KB Home at (925) 750-1749 or jbennett@kbhome.com) submitted an application to the City of Lafayette for an 81-unit condominium project with two levels of subterranean parking and an open space plaza.  The project location is the private parking next to the 75-unit Town Center Apartments (3594 Mt. Diablo Boulevard).  This project would constitute the final phase of the three phase Town Center development originally approved by the City Council in 1998.  Public hearings are currently being conducted for the proposed development. Wireless Communications Facilities On Monday, January 23, 2012, the City Council adopted a 45-day temporary moratorium on the issuance of land use permits, encroachment permits, and building permits for the establishment or modification of wireless communication facilities (“WCF”). On February 27, 2012, the Council extended the temporary moratorium for ten (10) months and fifteen (15) days.
